Dermatology Rpn

A cosmetic dermatology clinic in Oakville are looking for an experienced RPN to join their established team.

This is an ideal position for a highly experienced and knowledgeable RPN, who is looking for a company who are committed to the continual professional development of their staff as well as keeping them up to date with the latest procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities include:

- Prepare patients for physical exam/surgery
- Assist physician to maintain a good workflow and meet expectations of patients in relation to being on time
- Assist physician with minor surgical procedures and administer local anesthetic when necessary
- Maintain clean, safe and well-stocked exam and operating rooms, sterilize surgical instruments, and assist with clinic housekeeping
- Conduct follow-up phone calls with patients regarding their care or if any questions arise
- Prepare requisitions and process specimen collection - Receive and review pathology reports
- Contact patients with lab results and assist with referrals out
