Pattern Maker

**Job Summary**

Roopa Knitting Mils is a leading supplier of knit apparel, made in Canada.

We produce fabric and garments for some of the leading brands in fashion.

Knowledge of PAD System software for pattern making is required. Knowledge of marker making for production is an added bonus.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

1) Review customer tech packs and designs.

2) Discuss any questions/concerns with client to understand their requirements/specs/grading/construction

3) Build pattern on PAD System.

4) Review finished garment with team/client and make any adjustments to pattern, as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**

1) Minimum 5 years of pattern making experience.

2) Experience with PAD System.

3) Understanding of knit garment construction, sewing procedures & seams.

4) Proficient in Windows programs.

6) Strong communication skills (verbal and written) - providing full attention to what other people are saying, taking the time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and ensuring accurate information transfer.

7) Advanced judgement and decision making skills - considering the relative costs and benefits to potential actions to choose the most appropriate one

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
