**JOB SUMMARY**

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Forklift operator is responsible for receiving, transferring, and shipping FedEx or Purolator parcels, merchandise, raw materials, and finished or semi-finished products throughout the different areas of the plant, depending on production volume and priorities. The incumbent will also be required to operate a forklift, gripper, and/or roller forklift, as well as an automatic packaging machine.

**YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE**:

- Move, receive, and ship FEDEX or Purolator packages;
- Drive and operate a forklift, roller, and/or gripper forklift according to established rules;
- Using loading and unloading procedures, load and unload trucks;
- Manage inventory using the inventory management system;
- Receive and ship rolls of paper, merchandise, and finished or semi-finished products, working closely with the shipping dispatcher;
- Comply with health and safety regulations;
- Feed or release raw materials, finished or semi-finished products to various sectors;
- Operate the automatic packer and ensure basic maintenance;
- Ensure the substitution of small packages in case of absence or similar situations. This involves receiving and processing deliveries, preparing parcels for our customers according to delivery deadlines, and managing transport logistics.

**THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE**:

- At least one year of experience in a clerical position, as well as experience in material handling;
- Ability to handle the various computer tools required to accomplish the task;
- Ability to communicate and listen;
- Ability to plan and prioritize, good stress management;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Courtesy, flexibility, and versatility;
- Fluency in French (oral and written), and functional English.

**Work schedule**:

- DAY shift 40 hours/week
- Remote work is not possible in this role;
