**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Execute maintenance activities for grounds including turf, gardens, irrigation, tree care
- Maintain lawns using a variety of mowers and trimmers ensuring an even cut
- Trim shrubs and hedges, edge walks and curbs and other related ground maintenance utilizing proper safety techniques
- Perform and/or assist in the building of new flowerbeds and maintaining existing beds including weeding
- Perform and or assist in spreading fertilizer, mulch, soil and seed as required
- Maintain the ground irrigation system and set and implement irrigation schedules
- Inspect all grounds growing areas for disease, insects and weeds and report findings to implement appropriate actions

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma in landscape management and/or equivalent of three to five years’ experience
- Specialized skill set and experience in landscape management
- Ability to plan and perform tasks independently or with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrated working knowledge of landscape/grounds maintenance functions
- Ability to communicate and explain facts, procedures and practices and provide updates to team members and Farm Manager
- Basic computer skills working with MS 365/Office
- Valid Ontario Driver’s licence required
- Valid First Aid, CPR and AED certification is an asset
