**Robertson School of Health has an immediate need for a Health Care Aide Instructor.**

**Overview**

We are seeking a **Health Care Aide Clinical Instructor** to join our School of Health. You will be reporting to the **Manager, Operations School of Health**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Be available to problem solve all students and staff for questions and concerns daily.- Support and guide students in a positive learning environment on duties and responsibilities of a HCA.- Monitor students' skill on assigned tasks while out on practicum.- Complete weekly report on students and their progress.- Provide feedback and assistance to student on positive or “need to work on” statements.- Collaborate with the preceptor/staff in completing a final evaluation on the student’s practical performance.- Facilitate on filling out practicum checklists.- Review final evaluations with each student.- Document daily performance on students.- Performs other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**Active Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.**Minimum of 1500 hours of clinical nursing or nursing education experience in Canada within the past 3 years required.**1+ years experience of adult teaching experience in clinical, educational, or health-related settings preferred.**- A baccalaureate degree in education or completion of an approved adult teaching/learning education program an asset.- Ability to work independently and make confident decisions.- Efficient in managing time and prioritizing tasks.- Proven reliability and consistent punctuality.- Approachable with a friendly demeanor, fostering a supportive environment.- Excellent problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills.- Flexible and responsive to changes in a fast-paced setting.- Multicultural sensitivity/awareness.- Ability to work in a team environment.**Job Type**: Fixed-term contract (Part-time)

**Salary Rate**:$42.16

**Schedule**: Available Monday - Friday (Day/Evening Shift) for site-specific shifts

**Work Location**: In person
