Job Descriptions*
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, plans and building codes
- Determine the type and amount of material required for each project
- Maintain inventory of supplies and materials
- Train apprentices and other employees
- Use wood and other materials to build structures and forms to place concrete
- Safely operate hand and power tools with caution and precision
- Accurately measure and cut materials to required specification
- Establish methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work activities with other departments
- Keep a clean and organized work environment
- Observe and follow all OSHA Standards
- Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

**Assets**
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Journeyman Carpenter
- A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to drive to the shop everyday

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program
- Construction knowledge: how to build projects depicted
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding critical thinking skills
- Good math and problem-solving skills
- Leadership skills are essential
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the attention to detail
- Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
- Night shift start time is between 7pm and 7:30pm
- Physically able to perform demanding work for extended periods of time (laying, bending, squatting, lifting, etc.)
