
Wind Turbine Technician

CANEIL is actively seeking experienced and skilled wind technicians to join our dynamic team, contributing to the success of our wind energy projects across various regions.
This position is expected to begin mid-late May with work located in the US for a few months to complete training and become familiar with our systems before transitioning back to Canada and local projects (all mobilization costs/expenses will be covered and per diem while on site is provided).
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including tower, nacelle, and hub activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements, leading safety meetings and monitoring working conditions.
- Manage tooling inventory, follow retrofit instructions, and contribute to team success.
- Execute modifications and installations based on provided instructions.
- Conduct torquing and tensioning tasks as part of maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily tech tracker, and prepare necessary reports and documentation.
**Requirements**:
- GWO certification is mandatory (specifically BST and ART).
- Confined space certification is beneficial.
- Prior experience in the wind energy industry.
- Willingness to work in the U.S.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong safety mindset and leadership skills.
- Physical fitness for tasks at heights and manual labor.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work as notified.
- Competitive compensation and ongoing training provided.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
