**Responsibilities**:

- Present a positive company image at all times to both tenants and public
- Inspection of corridors and passageways to ensure they are kept secure and clear of any obstructions
- Parking facility inspection for unauthorized parking or solicitation, accidents, general illumination, safe walkways, entrances, etc.
- Observe and report unusual activity in assigned facilities
- Deal with potentially violent or disruptive behaviour in an orderly manner
- Monitor security systems at commercial or residential properties
- Properly access and control entry points of a building.
- Descalate and prevent conflicts

**Qualifications**:

- A valid security guard license (a valid Ontario Private Security and Investigative Services License)
- Assessment and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and training in emergency response
- Good judgement and decision-making ability
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Available to work flexible hours
- Have a clear criminal background and driving record
- Minimum grade 12 education
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer relations skills

**Preferred qualifications**:

- A valid driver's license
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in security preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
