Job Title**:Outreach ESL Instructor**

Location: Grand Falls Windsor, NL

Position Type: 1 part-time position

Closing date: May 31, 2023

Reporting to the ESL Coordinator, the Outreach ESL Instructor will be responsible for assisting adult learners in acquiring the language skills necessary to settle and integrate into Canadian society. The delivery of the sessions will be at a mutually-agreed-upon location between the Outreach ESL Instructor and the student.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Prepare and deliver course materials (resources are available);
- Instruct students and provide appropriate direction and feedback;
- Evaluate students’ learning needs and adapt teaching style for success;
- Encourage sharing of cultures and foster dialogue on Canadian society; and
- Prepare and submit monthly reports.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s level degree, or equivalent training and experience;
- Bachelor of Education and/or recognized TESL/TEFL Diploma/Certificate preferred, or equivalent training and experience;
- A passion for working with people from diverse cultures and varying educational backgrounds;
- Above average command of English language, both written and oral;
- Experience in teaching/adult education and strong commitment to student learning; and
- Flexible and able to work evenings and weekends.
