**Responsibilities**:

- Knowledge and operation of hand/power tools
- Knowledge in concrete forming, rebar placing and rebar tying
- Ability to perform manual labour, project tasks as assigned, carry materials, tools, and equipment
- Proper care and attention of company tools and equipment
- Prepare work areas for sub trades
- Physical endurance being able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- Good interpersonal skills/communication skills when work with sub trades and other teams
- Good understanding of safety policies, safe work practices and safe job procedures
- Must be willing to work in a variable climatic condition (ie. Indoors and outdoors)

Other duties as assigned

**Experience**:

- 2+ years basic construction experience
- Registered as an Apprentice through AccessManitoba
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Experience with wood framing, leveling floors, stand walls, hang doors
- Experience with concrete forming, placing and finishing
- Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings and documents
- Proficient in basic math and measurement skills
- Must be physically fit to meet the demands of the job
- Solid attendance, punctual and possesses a strong work ethic
- Available to work longer days if required
- Available to travel occasionally where projects dictate (in-town and out-of-town work)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required

Note: This job description does not include all the duties of the position. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

**Hours of Work**: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm or as projects dictate

**Hour Wage Range**: $22.64 - $27.87 per hour _(depending upon experience, qualifications)_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
