Ondrejicka Elevators Limited is an exporter of non-GMO, food grade soybeans around the world. Our state of the art facility combined with a team of dedicated employees and growers has made us the premier supplier to markets in Japan and southeast Asia.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
This position will be responsible for all day-to-day operations and supervision of staff. As Plant Operations Manager, you will manage the processing facility and its staff to increase facility throughput. This position is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Manage the receiving, binning, cleaning, processing, and shipping of products ensuring optimal use of facility space and equipment to meet shipping commitments.
- Fosters an environment of continuous improvement in health and safety, business process, and strives to build a positive team working environment for staff.
- Perform storage bin inventory, monitor and manage bean quality through aeration and movement of all inventory.
- During harvest season, the Plant Operations Manager is responsible for scheduling staff for IP receiving and organizing a harvest storage plan for all IP soybean acres for multiple locations.
- Monitor general maintenance
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have experience in plant operations
- Management experience considered an asset but not required
- Post-secondary education preferred
