**Description:
- Permanent Full Time- As a Preprocessor, you will be responsible for verifying or creating accurate employee and dependent eligibility information as well as obtaining missing information from providers to ensure the correct assessment of claims.**You will be accountable for**:

- Review and investigate missing plan & id numbers for unidentified paper claims, point of sale submissions, and eClaims. Business tools used in the identification process are: Salesforce, EAS, PAS (TOCS), BEN, and various other sources.
- Updating BEN family registers where applicable.
- Completion of ‘send back’ letters to the policyholder/provider for claims that cannot be identified.
- Investigation and re-distribution of returned mail from Canada Post. This includes cheques, explanation of benefits, letters, etc.
- Phone calls to providers to obtain Missing information within a claim submission as requested by Claims Processors.
- Review and update Excel spreadsheet relating to Missing Information requests
- Returning completed claim inquiries to the appropriate Claims Processor & Claims Examiner teams ensuring internal time services turnaround times are met.

- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel
- Basic knowledge of BEN and the Claims Workflow system or the DEBS system would be an asset
- Very reliable with excellent attendance

- The base salary for this position is between **$29,800****:

- $45,100** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
