**Job Summary**:Position Summary:
An Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the management and control of inventory within a company or organization. They ensure that inventory levels are accurate, maintained efficiently, and aligned with business needs. The role involves coordinating with various departments such as production, logistics, and sales to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock shortages or excesses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inventory Management:

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions on stock replenishment.
- Procurement Coordination:

- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Place purchase orders with suppliers based on inventory requirements and stock level analysis.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery or product quality.
- Warehouse Operations:

- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of inventory.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to facilitate efficient stock movement.
- Inventory Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and key performance indicators.
- Analyze inventory data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on inventory analysis.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with sales, production, and finance departments to align inventory levels with business objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss inventory-related issues and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of inventory-related activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
