**Project Details**
- Location: Edmonton, AB
- Start Date: June 2023
- Duration: 2 years or until construction is completed
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day. Additional hours will be required during peak construction and tunneling.

**Your Opportunity with Michels Canada**

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Oversee and lead a team to coordinate the activities of the Bull Gang team.
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate materials to ensure optimal performance for project and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and key stakeholders to ensure project timelines, safety protocols, and quality objectives are met.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of MTBMs, mud plants, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and geotechnical reports.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including production reports and safety documentation.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ability to proficiently operate various pieces of equipment such as Skid Steer, Excavator and Mini Excavator.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements to ensure successful project execution and effective communication to all team members.
- Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Bull Gang Foreman leading teams on a microtunnel project.
- Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
- Must be able to work in and around confined spaces.
- Must be able to work in and around tunnels 4 feet in diameter and 20+ meters below grade.
- Must have ability to operate various pieces of equipment such as Skid Steer, Excavator and Mini Excavator.
- Previous experience with tunneling sewer or wastewater construction.
- First Aid is an asset but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle.
- Employment conditional on successful completion of required safety training and site access requirements.
- Must have proficient written and spoken English.
