Ipm Specialist

Delta greenhouse is looking for a passionate IPM Specialist who is eager to learn and grow with us. This role involves monitoring plant health, identifying pest and disease problems, and implementing effective organic pest management strategies.

**Duties**:
Coordinate preventative and corrective IPM plans and strategies.

Maintain accurate inventory of pesticides, herbicides, and biocontrol agents.

Supervise spray applicators and scouting, using a scouting map to timely identify pests or diseases.

Train and coordinate with IPM team members.

Data collection and record keeping.

Support and lead the IPM in implementing a successful IPM program.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Pesticide Applicator’s Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

First aid Level 1 certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently, follow directions, and keen interest in learning about plant diseases and viruses.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multilingual, multicultural environment.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
