**FUMIGATION SUPERVISOR - AGRICULTURAL SERVICES**

AHK has an exciting opportunity for a Fumigation Supervisor to join our Agricultural Services Department. You will be responsible for rendering to customers commodity fumigation and inspection services in a timely, safe, legal, ethical, and effective manner necessary to the customers satisfaction.

**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?**

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect and fumigate vessels, silos and containers.
- Provide clear concise reports in a timely manner.
- Manage supplies to achieve optimum production and cost effectiveness.
- Manage, plan and provide training for Operational HSE of fumigation.
- Create SOPs for fumigation of vessel, silo and container.
- Provide authoritative opinions in the area of expertise and find new and innovative ways of improving production efficiencies.
- Manage, plan and provide training for Operational HSE of fumigation.
- Assist in daily / weekly activities, inventory management, paperwork, calibration of equipment, etc.
- Fumigation equipment retrieval in various ports and commerce.
- Maintain a professional manner while performing his/her duties.
- Support any other duties that may be assigned by his/her Manager.
- Achieve client satisfaction by maintaining production and specified turnaround targets.
- Follow all requirements according to any government regulations pertaining to fumigation services.
- May be assigned to coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed (lab analysis, H&S related tasks such as field risk assessments, etc.)

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must be legally eligible to work for an employer in Canada without sponsorship.
- In depth knowledge of the technical aspects of all fumigation services.
- Overseeing staff training and promotion of standards.
- Previous experience leading a fumigation team, service delivery, HSE.
- 7 years of previous experience in a fumigating role is an asset.
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a vehicle and a clear driving record.

**Required Qualifications**
- Trade certification(s).
- First Aid Level 1, WHMIS, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.

**Travel / Rotation Requirements**
- Able to do significant travel within Canada.
