Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter
Markham, ON

Location: 570 Hood Road, Unit 26, Markham, ON

**Job Description**:
King EPCM is looking to fill two (2) full-time Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter positions. This position is for an experienced Engineering Technician or CAD Drafter to independently create civil engineering drawings, such as drainage grading plans, municipal servicing plans, similar diagrams. Under the direct guidance of the Principal Engineer, the CAD Drafter is expected to independently complete projects related to their field of expertise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creation of site grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and other site plans
- Convert raw in-house topographic survey data into site plans
- Creation of municipal servicing plans, such as sanitary sewer, stormwater sewer, and watermain
- Conduct periodic field visits and inspections as required
- Other responsibilities related to Civil Engineering

**Requirements**:

- Must have absolute and full fluency in AutoCAD, as it is the majority of the workload
- Must demonstrate understanding of site grading plans and basic municipal servicing principles
- Must demonstrate full fluency in the English language
- Must be physically fit to conduct field-visits, including in remote locations
- Must have valid G driver’s license and personal vehicle, willing to travel to project site
