Industrial Painter

_**Western Solutions 2000 Ltd**_**. **is a dynamic growing company offering a full time, long-term experienced Industrial Painter position to meet the demands of our business.

As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and completing QA / QC Documentation.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Ability to participate in a quality control program to insure that all specifications are met to the required standards of products
- Set up and maintain spray equipment (airless, pressure pot, and pot gun) as required for each job
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Ability to spray a variety of coatings on industrial and commercial equipment as well as structural steel and pipe coatings and linings
- Experience with masking and paint preparation as required
- Select appropriate coating and mix as per manufacturers specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete QA / QC documents as required
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- **Requirements**:_
- Minimum of 1 years of previous experience Industrial Painting
- Familiar with Industrial Painting equipment and how to use
- Load and unload paint booth
- Prepare all materials for painting
- Testing atmosphere and paint / coating thicknesses and completing required documents
- Holiday Testing when required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must have the ability to produce good quality, high output production
- Operate hand and power tools and equipment
- **Required Safety Tickets**_
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid with AED Level C
- CSTS or PCST Certification
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a 3 year clean Drivers Abstract
- NACE Certification (any level) would be an asset
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test (pre-employment and/or pre-access)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
