Gm Assembler

Performs various gearbox assembly and sub-assembly operations in a production area requiring general physical dexterity.

This is a full time position in our Oakville facility. Our assembly area is clean, bright, and spacious with high ceilings.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm with possible overtime.

**Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)**:

- Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
- Test units and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary
- Place and retrieve inventory from warehouse shelves
- Ability to modify gearbox units to meet order requirements
- Ability to competently use a variety of measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, height gauge, etc.).
- Quality oriented
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices
- Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
- Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 3 Years of mechanical assembly experience
