**Responsibilities / Duties**

Support project management and engineering team in all project estimating aspects including:

- Logging incoming requests for quotations into appropriate project folders and project tracking log.
- Downloading tender documents into specific tender folders.
- Completing quantity takeoffs from drawings and data enter in to Miscrosoft Excel estimating spreadsheet.
- Sending out any required requests for quotations to vendors and subcontractors, file quotations and insert pricing information into estimate.
- Submit clarification requests to clients and project design requirements.
- Communicate with client and business development team.
- Prepare summary cost breakdown and estimate presentation for internal team for margin call prior to client communication.
- Respond to information requests from Estimating in preparation of pricing proposals.

Support project management and engineering team in all project execution aspects including:

- Log all project actual cost and as-built quantities for job progress tracking.
- Assist in preparation of work plans and contract formulation.
- Invoice tracking.
- Schedule maintenance and performing updates as requested.
- Lead maintenance of project record keeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, and RFI’s.
- Assist in ordering and scheduling material deliveries.
- Communicate with client and business development team.

Meeting with business management, marketing, production and engineering team to discuss upcoming projects in pipeline and estimating behaviour.

Maintenance of project tracking log, quote tracking lot, invoice tracking, project naming and sharepoint folders for all projects.

Attend internal team meetings and pre-bid + project kick-off and closing meetings.

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology or a combination of equivalent skills and work experience.
- 1+ years of experience within either Residential/Commercial/Industrial Construction.
- Working knowledge of Precast Concrete Construction and multi-discipline construction activities.
- Microsoft Excel & Office Suite and Sharepoint skills.
- Familiar with construction contracting and the scheduling implications of contracting terms.
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated individual who follows up and follows through.
- Good time management skills, the ability to work with mínimal supervision and contribute to the Practice by being a team player.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer technical aptitude for learning new systems and programs.
- Self-starter / Problem solver / Self-disciplined.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
