Edmonton, Canada Operation Frienship Seniors Society Full time

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To be familiar with the mission and values of Operation Friendship Seniors Society.
- Follow all policies and procedures as defined by Operation Friendship Seniors Society
- Ensure daily entries are made in appropriate log books.
- Follow universal precautions at all times while completing duties.
- Follow protocols safely when handling all cleaning supplies.
- Ensure proper recording of personal care services provided.
- Report any changes in the clients’ status (physical and/or mental) to the LPN.
- Perform personal care tasks such as bath or shower, toileting and incontinence related.
- Light housekeeping tasks in connection with personal care clients.
- Medication Administration as required.
- Professional caring attitude to all seniors, staff members, and other agencies and visitors.
- Attend all Agency staff/team meetings and other meetings as required.

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:_**_
- **_**- HCA Certification required.
- Medication Administration Certificated (is a must).
- CPR certificated updated. (Is a must).
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Minimum 3 years’ Experience working as a HCA.
- Updated Vaccination record.

**SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:_**_
- **_**- Strong interpersonal skills, communication abilities (verbal and written). Computer literate with demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems and processes, time management and organizing skills, ability to deal with conflict and solving problems.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS_**_
- **_**- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds, repetitive motion tasks with upper and lower extremities, Bending, kneeling, reaching and twisting are frequently required movements.

**Salary**: From $21.77 per hour

- On call

Mask are mandatory for all employees, frequent hand wash encourage, hand sanitizer use in place, common areas are disinfected regularly.
