**Novarc Technologies** is looking for a product enthusiast to join our design thinking and Agile-based Product Team to work on our flagship Autonomous Adaptive Welding Solution.

As Product Owner, you are responsible for planning and managing the development of product vision and strategy, and will drive hands-on execution with the development team.

The role is truly cross-functional, requiring interaction with product, marketing, and engineering and reporting to the product manager. You will gather/explore, define, document and prioritize business needs with the help of PM, translate these into clear and descriptive product requirements, work closely with other departments in shaping and testing new releases, and interact with Users and Customer Success team in refinement and further development of the services.

**On a typical day, you will**
- Manage the entire lifecycle of our technology products, from idea to released functionality.
- Support seamless integration and alignment of perspectives by communicating across a broad set of internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the definition of and execution on the strategic product roadmap.
- Work closely with the product manager, product stakeholders / sponsors to align, review & document business requirements in the form of features, user stories, use cases and/or specifications with the highest possible quality, including acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Product Designer to conduct customer and stakeholder interviews, elaborate on personas, define UI designs and validate problems.
- Create, prioritize, maintain and execute a roadmap for all key development activities for the service on a continuous basis; ensuring that the team can execute efficiently and effectively by managing dependencies to meet service and product release goals. Communicate on regular basis status, progress, development velocity, risks / delays, estimated release dates to the product manager, program managers, product stakeholders / sponsors and the Products Steering Committee.
- Understand and take part in discussions about the consequences of the architectural/technical decisions taken by the development team.
- Prepare release highlights for major releases of the product & ensure the business documentation is prepared by knowledge authors for each major releases of the product in all supported languages
- Organize and run the Backlog Refinement and Sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings. Organize and plan Sprint Demo meetings for all stakeholders.
- Help to craft product requirements and user stories, including clear acceptance criteria to ensure alignment and minimize waste
- Attend ongoing Scrum rituals such as sprint planning, backlog refinement

**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, computer science or in “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) majors
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as product owner or similar role.
- Experience in research of competitive product’s features, understanding user persona needs through lateral methods.
- Experience in identifying and shaping business needs into product requirements through workshops, interviews, prototyping and other techniques.
- Experience or strong knowledge on Modern Frontend Technologies and latest trends in User Interfaces in the market.
- Strong Data Analysis skill set.
- Experience and knowledge of Agile software development processes.
- Strong project management skills, including ability to multi-task effectively.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to negotiate and gain alignment from competing stakeholders to communicate a single synthesized perspective to engineering.
- Ensures understanding of issues and presents a clear rationale for decision-making.
- Identifies misalignments with goals, objectives, and work direction against the product and organizational strategy.
- You put customers front and center, and you enjoy talking with them
- You have some experience working on digital products, specifically software (AI) products, within a technology startup, and/or within technology consulting
- You have a business sense and can understand how our product fits within the “big picture” of an organization
- You are an exceptional communicator with the ability to collaborate and build trust with diverse stakeholders
- You have a strong willingness to learn and grow through on-the-job mentorship
- You have an understanding of agile principles and would thrive working in an environment where iteration and continuous improvement is essential to our culture

**Nice to have**
- MBA, Masters or PhD in Software or AI related fields
- You are familiar with machine learning and AI principles
