Woodbridge, Canada Newmar Window Manufacturing Inc. Full time

**Front Desk Receptionist & Floater; Monday to Friday; 8am - 5pm**

**Start Date - August 1, 2024**

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls taking messages and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate staff member.
- Greet visitors and clients in a warm and friendly manner upon arrival to the office or through the phone
- Receive, sort, ship, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (visitor log book)
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
- Organize and file company documents electronically or with a paper filing system
- Provide support for other departments when necessary
- Assisting in organizing office events
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g.pens, forms and brochures, etc.)
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining kitchen stock/supplies
- Flexibility to be able to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma, additional certification in administration is a plus.
- Proven and previous experience as a Receptionist, Administrative Roles, or Customer Service.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency in general computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and calendar management.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive problem solver with strong critical thinking abilities.
- Multitasking and Team Player with strong collaboration skills.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Customer service attitude.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
