**The position**

Reporting to the Fulfillment Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the proper warehousing and inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, traded products and miscellaneous supplies. The Warehouse Supervisor coordinates with the purchasing, manufacturing and shipping departments to ensure proper receiving, transfer and dispatch of raw materials to finished goods.

This positions works 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday from our Workshop in Canmore, Alberta.

**What you'll be doing**
- Ensure effective utilization of warehouse areas and observe proper loading, unloading, stocking, and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of finished goods
- Effectively monitor the flow of goods and implement First-In-First-Out (FIFP) method in the use of raw materials and in dispatching finished goods
- Coordinate with various departments with regards to incoming deliveries, and the transfer and dispatch of finished goods
- Responsible for accurate record keeping of all transferred materials and finished goods, and ensure accuracy of product inventories against system records
- Develop and effectively implement warehouse and inventory monitoring systems and procedures
- Prepare and monitor budgets according to plan and ensure maximum utilization of manufacturing and logistics resources
- Provide advice and support to other areas on production planning, inventory control and warehouse matters
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team in a manner consistent with Rocky's values and promote teamwork within all departments
- Responsible for the coaching, enforcement, and adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), policies and procedures

**Does this sound like you?**
- 5+ years of warehouse supervision experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate a forklift effectively
- Proficient computer skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Available to work extended hours
