Plant Labourer

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, Plant Labourers are responsible for completing assigned tasks relating to the processing and shipping of fish.

**Position Information**:

- Work hours are variable, generally Monday - Friday
- Seasonal from June - September
- Competitive hourly wage, $16.09 - $17.46 depending on position

**Responsibilities**:

- Grading, packing or weighing fish
- Labeling boxes
- Transporting filled boxes to the freezer
- Cleaning and tidying up once tasks are completed
- Following all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies

**Examples of Positions**
- Fillet machine operator
- Forklift operator
- Packing product
- Loading plate freezers
- Night time plant clean-up

**Requirements**:

- Students welcome
- No formal degree, certificate or diploma required
- Will train
- Own transportation required
