The RV salesperson will be directly responsible for selling new and/or used vehicles at dealership gross and volume standards. This position includes three broad areas of activity:
Personal work habits

Prospecting and selling

Follow-up on all customer prospects

**DUTIES**
- Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction to his/her and the dealership’s customers.
- Establish how many RV’s, both new and used, must be sold to reach earnings goals; then establish the number of demonstrations, appraisals, new prospects, and people who must be seen face-to-face to reach established goals.
- Develop a creative method or program of action that will reach predetermined goals in the allocated time.
- Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time or plan more effectively.
- Report to management concerning objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyze as requested.

**MANDATORY**
- Maintain the company’s daily owner follow-up system that encourages repeat business and makes the owner conscious of the salesperson so that the owner will refer leads and prospects.
- Understand the terminology of the recreation vehicle business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product.
- Familiarize himself/herself with current new product and customer benefits of new features, accessories, etc.
- Be familiar with competitive products, including equipment, prices, models, series and trading practices.
- Attend sales meetings.
- Know and understand equity and values and be able to explain depreciation to customer.
- Work with the service department in accordance with dealership policy, emphasizing to the customer the quality and availability of repairs in the service department.
- Obtain licensing through the VSA Training and Certification Program. Renew yearly.
- Be familiar with and comply with the Privacy Act and the Company’s Privacy Policy.
