Shotcrete Nozzleman

The Nozzleman is responsible for working with the shoring crews to ensure the shotcrete is applied correctly and efficiently adhering to engineering specifications.
What you'll be doing:
- Inspect all hoses and equipment for imperfections before use
- Responsible for encapsulating rebar and mesh ensuring no gaps in shotcrete
- Responsible for working with shoring labourers to ensure correct method of shooting
- Participate in job-site safety meetings and champion a strong safety attitude
- Assist other crew members with daily activities of the site
- Most work sites will be based on the Lower Mainland or around Sechelt but travel to/from anywhere in Western Canada can be expected
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a Groutman and Labourer Full understanding of shotcrete slumps and a working knowledge of shotcrete pumps
- Working knowledge of flow needs of moving the grout through the pump line
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather, along with additional hours as needed (possibility of weekends)
- Ability to get to sites across the Lower Mainland
- Ability to work well with crews and follow directions of those instructing the tasks

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
