Job Summary:
The contractor desk salesperson is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient service to customers, advising them on appropriate merchandise merchandise and related items. Must be able top perform all assigned tasks with sufficient speed and accuracy to support store efficiency and a high level of customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate product knowledge to the customer as appropriate.
- Process special orders for non-stock and out of stock items.
- Be familiar with lumber and building materials.
- Communicate effectively and persuasively with employees, management, suppliers, and customers to obtain accurate information for pricing, estimates, quotes, etc.
- Knowledge of lumber and building materials definitely an asset.

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
