Jr. Inventory Analyst

Vancouver, Canada Kit and Ace Full time

Ensure complete and accurate data flow between the 3PL and Kit and Ace systems daily
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy between what is reflected in DC WMS and what is physically in the warehouse inventory
- Manage the health of inventory, identify discrepancies and proactively track and communicate issues using reports to multiple departments
- Manage and process all inventory adjustments for finished goods and raw materials as per company process
- Advise appropriate inventory procedure to other departments
- Direct appropriate resources to ensure inventory integrity and accuracy is tracked and reported
- Oversee inbound shipment tracking and report metrics
- Collect and verify data in relation to On-Time delivery, order accuracy, stock outs and negative On-Hands
- Direct and advise count activities such as cycle counts, full counts, pullbacks and product transfers - utilizing showroom staff, logistics and 3PL’s
- Direct and oversee inventory processes in showrooms to ensure accuracy
- Provide insights to Financial Report and Accounts Payable Team with detailed inventory analysis
- Manage contract’s and budgets for inventory control
- Train and update staff on new inventory processes throughout the company
- Flexible and like to have FUN

Competencies:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain management, business administration or related field
- 1-2 years experience in an inventory management or supply chain-based role
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets, along with excellent Excel ability
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - the ability to efficiently engage with multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Proven ability to work within a cross-functional team and independently
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage own workflow in order to meet competing deadlines
- Results-oriented and focused on continuous process improvement
- Naturally inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions, or challenge the status quo
