**Concrete Cutting & Coring Operator**

**1. About Us;**
- At Walser Contracting, we specialize in Concrete Cutting Services in Edmonton & Western Canada. Our people are experts who not only have the tools to finish the job but are also knowledgeable and have extensive experience completing large scale infrastructure projects.
- Walser Contracting Ltd was founded in 2006
- Your own transportation is needed as we are not on any bus routes, our main office is in Spruce Grove, AB., but our sites are all over Edmonton and Western Canada
- Walser Contracting Ltd is safety orientated to ensure all employees go home to their families

**2. Job Description;**
- Operator duties will include but not limited to operating and maintaining wall saw, slab saw, wire saw, ring saw, chainsaw, and core drill in a safe and efficient manner.
- The operator is responsible to plan for specific jobs, ensure he has required equipment and lead the labourers
- The operator maintains the equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure it is ready to be used for intended purpose and safely.
- Will be a mentor to new employees
- Hours are based on a 10-hour day

**3. Requirements**
- Valid drivers license with transportation as there is no bus service
- Must pass pre-employment and on-going drug and alcohol testing
- Walser has a zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol
- CSTS2020
- 2 + years experience in construction
- Standard First Aid, Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform, H2S alive and Confined Space tickets an asset.
- Must be reliable, excellent work ethic and be a team player
