Position Summary:
Tacten is seeking professional, energetic, and forward-thinking **2nd Year** **Apprentice Pipefitters **to support our client site at CNRL Horizon in Fort McMurray, AB. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

**We will certify you in IRATA Level 1 (Rope Access) course, and offer flexible project schedules that you can work throughout the year, flights, and camp/accomodations**

**Project Details**:

- Local to Fort McMurray or able to fly out of Alberta Hubs (FIFO) Calgary or Edmonton
- Location: CNRL HORIZON
- 6/1 turnaround rotation, 12 hrs/day
- Start Date: Around May 15th
- Duration: Turnaround until June 30th

**Responsibilities**:

- Shutdown
- Projects
- Call Out
- Maintenance

**Requirements**:

- Registered Apprentice within Pipefitting
- IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain. Ability to hire those with IRATA Level 2 and 3 as well.
- CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO
- CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)
- ESC Fall Protection an asset
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
- Valid driver's license
