**Job Title**:Kinesiologist

**Status**: Part Time to Full Time | Contractor

**Location**: Surrey Nordel

**Hourly Rate**: Salary will be dependent on education, experience, skills and internal equity

**Job Summary**:

- Work one-on-one with clients rehabilitating injuries or seeking general fitness training
- Implement, monitor and progress exercise and work simulation programs.
- Communicate with ICBC adjustors to arrange Active Rehab coverage, provide patient updates and progress/discharge reports
- Communicate with other members of interdisciplinary team regarding client treatment plan, progress, etc. (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Kinesiologists)
- Complete functional assessments
- Experience communicating with ICBC including completing initial assessments, extension requests, progress and discharge reports.
- Work with a client profile that can range from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive and/or mood related

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics or equivalent degree.
- Member or eligible for membership with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).
- Knowledge and/or experience in evidence based orthopaedic, concussion, neurological or mental health practice with a strong emphasis on active rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of psycho-social aspects of disability.
- Travel may be required to other locations in the lower mainland.
