**Customer/ Supplier relations**
- Continue building on existing client relationships: calling on producers and assisting with crop planning and farm budgets.
- Proactively seek new producer business within the area.
- Continue building on supplier relationships: attending supplier held meetings to continuously expand your education and to assist in growing your network.
- Provide full agronomy services, soil testing and recommendations of products.

**Sales and budget planning**
- SLG offers a full line of crop inputs including crop protection products, seed dealers and custom fertilizer.
- Provide pre-season sales budgeting, and report on the progress of seed, fertilizer, and crop inputs service sales throughout the season to Sales Manager
- Work with the Sales Manager to plan fertilizer, seed, and crop protection purchase needs.

**Logistics and administrative**
- Plan and assist in coordinating product deliveries to physical locations and direct shipments to customers.
- Create custom ingredient fertilizer blend formulations based on soil test results or producer requests.
- Input sales quotes and prepayments.
- Assist with invoicing and monthly statements.
- Assist with the monitoring of inventory product levels and monthly counts.
- Participate in product order placement using vendors portals.

**Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 5-10 years in a similar role
- Solid understanding of grain and crop inputs markets
- Certified Crop Advisor designation (related or working towards) is considered an asset.
- Experience with sales planning and budgeting strategies.
- Excellent networking and relationship building qualities.
- A true team player that works well with others in a small office environment.
- A leader that is willing to share knowledge and provide industry related insights.
