**Responsibilities**:
As an integral member of the team, you will have an opportunity to support the day-to-day functions of the estimating team. You will have the opportunity to assist in the overall organization and maintenance of company estimating documents.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and estimated costs of materials, labor, for custom structural steel.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and estimated costs of materials, and labor, for miscellaneous steel.
- Provide administrative support to the estimating team as required.
- Organize and track bid invitations for the estimating team.
- Download and update bidding documents (this includes keeping digital and physical estimating folders for the estimating team, as well as digital and physical calendars).
- Corresponding with (and updating) suppliers/subcontractors and clients.
- Attend meetings as required, which may include creating meeting minutes.
- Additional duties as/if required (such as general administrative support for the office, project management teams, and fabrication shop).
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
- Ensures that all documentation is consistent and adheres to internal standards.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of post-secondary education with a diploma or degree related to Structural Steel Management & Detailing, Construction Management, Estimating, Construction/Architectural related education will be considered an asset.
- Any experience in Estimating, or similar roles.
- Blueprint reading/comprehension skills (Architectural and Structural drawings) and understanding of construction scopes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to think ahead proactively, with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy and use of MS Office programs. Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet client project commitments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,476.00-$77,156.00 per year
