**Return of Service (ROS)**: $10,000 to recent PSW graduates in exchange for a 12-month commitment to work full-time in a long-term care home or within the community.

**Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW**:

- Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- RN or RPN
- Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
- Valid Developmental Support Worker Certificate
- Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse, Physician

**Requirements**:

- A valid driver’s license and vehicle.
- Current CPR Certificate level C
- Current immunization record (TB test completed within the past 12 months) is required upon hire
- Current vulnerable sector check screening is required upon hire
- Availability to work 11:00pm-7:00am; including weekends
- This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement

**To be eligible for the PSW ROS, a Personal Support Worker must**:

- Successfully completed an Ontario PSW training program on or after April 1, 2023, at a public-assisted college, private career college, district school board or Indigenous Institute that meets the 2022 program standard established by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities **Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities program standard**:

- Begin employment with a participating employer between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2026; and
- Commit to 12 months of employment at a full-time work schedule
