Reporting to the Company Security Officer, the Alternate Company Security Officer will be responsible for implementing the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate’s Contract Security Program for ADGA.
- Assign, assist with completion and submission of personnel security screening requests for resources require access to protected and classified information, assets, or worksites for specific contracts.
- Complete regular reporting to determine clearances approaching expiry and begin the process to update clearances.
- Ensure the timely assignment, proper completion and submission of Personnel Security Screening requests and Request for Visits
- Maintain tracking system of all existing visits (in process and approved) and track their expiry to renew when required.
- Provide copies of Security Briefing Certificates and maintain a repository of certificates.
- Conduct Security briefings for new employees when required.
- Ensure that termination forms are submitted for resources that no longer require clearance.
- Assist the CSO in preparation of documentation supporting Facility Security Clearance (FSC) and Document Safeguarding Capability (DSC)
- Maintain accurate notes and records in internal platforms (SalesForce, internal servers. etc.)
- Identify requirements for resources with contracts requiring access to Controlled Goods. Complete and maintain records of Controlled Goods Assessments.
- Complete regular reporting of Controlled Goods assessments approaching expiry and complete updated assessments.
- Occasionally review the security requirements in the contract security requirements checklist (SRCL) or contract security clauses and ensure that all requirements are followed.
- Assist and support the CSO and Security team as required

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma or related post-secondary education with a minimum two years in the administration of corporate security and CISD industrial security programs.
- Experience with carrying out internal reports and following up with required actions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure.
- Advanced communication skills, both oral and written to discuss and advise on policies and procedures with clients and resources.
- Adept at using MS Office.
