**Overview**:
As Manager, Business Analysis, you will both lead a team of Business Analysts and act as an analyst on complex projects. Your team will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT professionals, and project managers, and be engaged in the development process from requirements gathering through implementation, ensuring our systems are aligned with business needs. You will be a key contributor to the PMO team, contributing to initiatives that improve and transform the way the firm operates.

**As a Manager, Business Analysis your responsibilities will include**:
**People Management**:

- Build, coach and support a team of Business Analysts
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, support amongst team members
- Guide the team in the development of user requirements, user stories, and test cases
- Work closely with the Process Excellence team to understand and improve business processes
- Organize incoming work and staff assignments to meet committed deadlines

**Business Analysis**:

- As an analyst on complex programs, work with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, model processes, analyze data needs, assist in evaluating solutions, and ensure appropriate testing against requirements
- Facilitate workshops to gather information for the development of requirements
- Manage the prioritization of requirements for changes to our core systems

**Stakeholder Relationships**:

- Foster collaboration between stakeholders and the technical team to ensure the effective development and documentation of requirements
- Establish meaningful relationships with business stakeholders and develop an in-depth understanding of their business processes and priorities

**Education**:
MBA or similar degree in business administration preferred, Diploma/Degree computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience

**Required Qualifications**:

- Good understanding of business functions and operations
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
- Demonstrated experience coaching and developing a team of Business Analysts
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to clearly communicate with business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to produce Business Process models
- Experience with User Interface and User Experience design, wireframing, and prototyping
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, creativity, and insight with the ability to resolve crisis situations with stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and business presentation skills
- Comfortable in front of a technical or management audience
- Proficiency in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

**Required Certifications**:

- One or more certifications in Business Analysis (CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA)
