**Position**: 3PL Sales Specialist (Non-Asset Based)

**Location**: Mississauga, CMI Group Inc. Head Office (in office)

We are currently looking to hire an experienced 3PL Sales Specialist. This position is an in-office position.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- **Understanding of 3PL (third-party logistics) industry**:

- **Experience in freight brokering within a non-asset based company**:

- Initiate sales and marketing calls to prospective or current clients _**(Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold calling, etc.)**_
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Manage accounts to retain existing relationships
- Succeed at heavy price and service negotiation with customers
- _**Your own book of business**_
- Familiarity with supply chain operations and logistics processes (i.e. balancing LTL loads and identifying FTL requirements)
- Experience billing end client
- Communicate with customers regarding shipments as required including challenges/issues regarding service
- Problem resolution; and
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Qualifications**

**Experience**:

- 3 years experience in sales
- 5 years experience in 3PL Logistics Industry

**Education and Certifications**:

- Diploma and/or Degree in relevant discipline preferred (Supply Chain Management, etc.)

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Knowledge with shipping terms and documents
- Knowledge of cost per KM within Canada (highway and local)
- Sales experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Advanced knowledge of logístical concepts and supply chain terminology, specifically with international freight
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
