Our family is looking for a casual, part-time Family Helper to join our family team. We are looking for someone friendly, positive, reliable, motivated and dependable. Our household needs support with the day-to-day things, so that we can be present with each other and our daughter. This requires someone who is efficient, able to prioritize, and manage time effectively. This role will be part-time and casual, with the opportunity to increase hours. Some responsibilities will include:

- Running errands as needed: ie.grocery shopping, mailing items, ordering items online, etc.
- General housekeeping including laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, dishes, take out garbage, organizing and tidying up
- Packing child for upcoming trips, preparing activities/entertainment for travel
- Meal prep: chopping vegetables, thawing meat, putting meals together
- Organization: The tasks would be varied and could be a mix of organizing gifts for upcoming birthday parties, sorting mail, preparing things for school, paperwork, coordinating activities and Dr appointments, and more.
- Household administration/improvements: creating chore charts for children, packing lists, update household SOPs as needed, etc.
- Managing household inventory and restocking essentials
- Special projects including: art organization project, assistance with listing items on marketplace
- Occasional childcare, including pickup from school, supervision and engagement with child (if evenings) while mom takes a call, has a shower, maybe goes to a workout class. Patience, emotional intelligence and respectful parenting techniques required. (*Note: this is not the primary responsibility but is an added bonus and will allow for additional hours as well, if desired).

Location: Downtown Vancouver.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week
