The expected salary range for this position will be $110,000 - $120,000 per annum.

For more than fifty years, the Department of Cellular & Physiological Sciences has played an active and important role at UBC and in the greater scientific community. The Department operates the Gross Anatomy Laboratory and oversees UBC’s Body Donation Program. Both contribute exceptional and extensive educational opportunities to students in medicine, dentistry, physical and occupation therapy, biomedical engineering and select undergraduate and graduate courses. The department fosters both collaboration amongst faculty, and individual development, in creating and delivering innovative anatomical education to our students.- Provide lectures and laboratories in gross anatomy and neuroanatomy to large and small groups of students.- Facilitate small group, case-based, learning for students in the MD Undergraduate program.- Act as an advisor to MD students in the Flexible and Enhanced Learning (FLEX) program.- Co-ordinate and train the gross anatomy laboratory’s teaching assistants.- Be expected to participate in other teaching activities of the unit (e.g. human physiology).
