We are seeking an innovative and multi-talented **Project Director, Seniors and Complex Care **to strategically lead project initiatives across Fraser Health (FH) owned, operated, and contracted sites. With expertise in project leadership and change management, the Project Director will focus on meeting and exceeding the provincial and Fraser Health vision for Seniors and Complex Care in the region. The Project Director will be a clear, caring, and courageous leader who provides direction and oversight to project teams responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of capital transformation initiatives.

**The Project Director is accountable for**:

- Providing project leadership including making timely business decisions regarding managing initiative budgets, use of resources, and variance projection/correction according to established processes and expectations;
- Developing and maintaining project milestones, and reporting on project progress and status, ensuring alignment to corporate resources to achieve milestones;
- Defining, leading and overseeing an overall project delivery approach and methodology throughout projects;
- Providing overall leadership, direction and supervision to assigned team members using effective management and leadership techniques to ensure team members have the knowledge, skills, abilities, and tools to support identified initiatives;
- Liaising with leadership across functional areas in Fraser Health to ensure resources are available and committed as needed to project and working groups;
- Working closely with all key partners, contracted service providers and Fraser Health owned and operated sites to identify and realize improvement opportunities, including the monitoring of improvement processes and delivery.
- Master's degree in Health, Business Administration or a related discipline;
- PMP, PROSCI and/or CHE certification/designation;
- Ten (10) years of experience in a complex health care environment, including five (5) years of progressive project or change management leadership experience;
- Expert knowledge of strategic planning, contract management and project management principles and an in-depth understanding of the long term care system and the health care system at both the strategic and operational level;
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Detailed Overview:
**Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families**:
In alignment with the provincial vision for Seniors and Complex Care and with Fraser Health's strategy and priorities, the Project Director is accountable to provide strategic leadership and consultation in the design, planning, implementation, integration and evaluation of improvement initiatives in the long-term Care system, and other change initiatives within Seniors and Complex Care across Fraser Health owned and operated and contracted sites as assigned.

Accountable to lead all aspects of the project team, the Project Director maintains operational congruence with strategic direction and goals through strategic and operational leadership. Provides project leadership and management to project team; deploys resources among leaders and initiatives; manages work flow/priorities across the project team and others in the organization; develops strategies to ensure deliverables meet key partner needs.

Establishes and maintains strong connections to operational and content experts across Fraser Health functional areas and contracted service providers to ensure that improvement projects are aligned to the provincial vision for Seniors and Complex Care, Fraser Health strategy and priorities, and are within the overall initiative goals.
