**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Manager, Hotel Accounting & A/P, Windsor Casino Limited, the Hotel Finance Supervisor ensures the accuracy, quality and efficiency in reporting, reconciling and analyzing of activities tied to Hotel Finance and the month end reports.
**Job Duties**
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, departmental policy/procedures, AGCO Regulations and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Leads the month end process for Hotel Finance, reviews journal and general ledger entries, and coordinates, generates and prepares month end reports that ensure non gaming revenue and related expenses are reflected accurately.
- Provides assistance to the internal/external auditors for their review of the Resort Operations financial records.
- Supervises, trains, develops, schedules, orientates, evaluates and disciplines staff.
- Responds and follows up on customer/department inquiries and concerns.
- Generates and completes reports necessary to assist with workflow.
- Liaises with customers, staff, coworkers, union, other departments and management effectively communicate departmental policies and procedures and resolve issues.
- Creates, develops and implements Hotel Finance standard journal entry forms to improve efficiency, identify issues and take corrective action as necessary.
- Confirms and verifies hours of work using the automated payroll system and maintains/tracks payroll information and personnel attendance records.
- Complies with Windsor Casino Limited policies and procedures.
- Performs any and all related tasks as assigned by management.
- Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.
**Job Qualifications**
- Equivalent to a Post Secondary Degree or College Diploma in Accounting.
- Minimum three years supervisory experience in a casino/hospitality environment in accounting or experience deemed acceptable by Windsor Casino Limited.
- C.A., C.M.A., C.G.A. designation preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Superior organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain a police clearance.
- Physical Demands: Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is frequently required. (i.e. between 25% and 75% of time on the job)
- Must possess a good attendance record as stipulated in the Casino Windsor Non-Union Attendance Management Policy. Anyone with over 5 occurrences will not be considered.
