This position is for night shift Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Must have own car.

Report to site on time and patrol grounds during the night.

This is a grave Yard shift 10pm to 6am

**Location**:Maple Ridge

**Security Officers Responsibilities**:

- Control access to the client's facility
- Patrol client facilities on foot
- Deter intrusion, theft and vandalism
- Watch for fire and flood and other hazards
- Assist and visitors
- Write reports of nightly activities and incidents
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to engage and communicate with homeless population and gain their compliance through dialogue
- Ability to work outside in the elements
- Strong customer service skills

**Qualifications**:
Must have a valid security License
- Drivers License
- Good driving record
- Ability to speak, read and write English

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
As assigned, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with Provincial and federal laws, carries out supervisory duties that can include some or all of the following: interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching/counseling and appraising performance; rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and, making hiring and termination recommendations. **Ensures duties our performed daily, checks daily shift reports...**
