Overview:
Generational Agency is a FIFA-licensed organization that strives to achieve athletic excellence, promote unity within communities, and foster top-notch Canadian talent for placement in professional clubs worldwide. With a vast network of connections to professional, semi-professional, and university teams in Europe and North America, Generational Agency is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Soccer Scout to join their team. This commission-based position is on a determined contract, with the potential for a fixed salary after probation. As a Soccer Scout with Generational Agency, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the organization and contribute to the advancement of Canadian soccer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct extensive research and analysis to identify potential soccer talent
- Attend soccer matches, tournaments, and events to scout players
- Evaluate players' skills, technique, physical attributes, and overall performance
- Maintain detailed records and reports on scouted players
- Collaborate with coaches and management to discuss potential recruits
- Develop relationships with coaches, agents, and other industry professionals to stay informed about emerging talent
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in the soccer world

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of soccer rules, tactics, and player positions
- Excellent research skills to identify potential recruits
- Sales skills to effectively communicate with players, coaches, and agents
- Training development experience to assess player potential and improvement areas
- Interviewing skills to evaluate players' character and attitude
- Lead generation abilities to identify new talent sources
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 3 months

**Experience**:

- Soccer coach: 3 years (required)
