In this role you will support a senior project manager in the leadership of projects; Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate regular reporting and review sessions with key stakeholders on status - summarize actions and Minutes of Meetings.
- Maintain and update schedules for each phase of the projects, ensure alignment across work streams and with overall program schedules
- Advise stakeholders across departments and teams to keep focus on priority tasks; track and help to resolve interdepartmental dependencies
- Manage the requirements and assumptions for a large dossier of projects including all contributing data.
- Work with Work Stream leaders to manage data and updates; perform data input and analysis for Work Stream Leaders ensuring data is entered correctly and presented in a clear format.
- Actively manage project Action registers and Risk registers, providing alerts to assure timely responses and resolutions
- Prepare executive summary data in support of management reviews of project progress and health
- Manage version control on all project management documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or management field
- Minimum 5 years professional experience including 2 years in a project management role
- Experience in a high technology culture and environment
- Diploma or Certificate in Project management, PMI certification is a plus
- Superior skills in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Demonstrated skills in project tools such as Smartsheets, Zoho Projects or equivalent
- Proven experience working with cross functional/cross geographic teams
- Prior experience of Aerospace engineering processes and tools is an added advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-disciplined with proven experience & ability to work in a hybrid work environment/culture (remote and in the office
