Yard Worker

As a Marina Yard Worker, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our marina by assisting with the organization and maintenance of our boat storage yard. Your responsibilities will include uncovering boats from winter storage, moving boats to and from designated locations in the yard, and assisting with general yard maintenance tasks.

**Responsibilities**:
Uncover boats from winter storage and ensure they are ready for use.

Move boats to and from designated locations in the yard using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, boat trailers).

Assist with launching and hauling out boats as needed.

Assist customers and staff with locating and accessing boats in the yard.

Maintain a clean and organized yard space, including picking up trash and debris.

Perform basic maintenance tasks on boats and equipment as directed.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience working in a marina or similar environment preferred.

Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
