We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at our manufacturing plant. As the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line and the timely delivery of our products to our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Organize and supervise the daily work schedule for the production team, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct performance reviews for all production line employees, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to strategize and prioritize production goals, ensuring on-time delivery of goods.
- Oversee the assembly line to ensure all processes are followed, paperwork is completed accurately, and product quality meets standards.
- Manage manpower effectively, reallocating employees to other departments as necessary to meet production demands.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to the production team to optimize productivity and performance.
- Communicate any delays or issues to management promptly, proposing solutions as needed.
- Ensure all operating equipment is well-maintained and safety checks are performed regularly, reporting any deficiencies to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the production department.
- Monitor employee attendance and productivity, taking appropriate action to address any issues.
- Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to address hiring needs for the production department.
- Ensure all employees are properly trained in health and safety policies and procedures, as well as their specific job duties and responsibilities.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines
- Train new employees on production processes and procedures
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency
**Requirements**:
- 3 years pf experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment, preference given to experience in Large Companies.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
- Proven track record of meeting production goals and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Ability to performance manage and coach team.
- Ability to continuously improve your area.
