**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Cabin Appearance & Seasonal Ops Lead works under the direction of
the Manager (BTW) and/or Owners to ensure all aspects of aircraft grooming and seasonal
operation (catering) are completed according to specific company policies & procedures. They
are a part of the overall Maintair Family. They will support and work alongside all areas of the
company and foster the team atmosphere of Maintair. This includes but is not limited to;
Encore, Porter, Sunwing, WestJet, and more. Safety, attention to detail, following company
procedures, and team work are key components to be a successful Lead. Leadership and team
possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, be energetic, outgoing,
understanding and accepting of change. They must also be flexible and able to deal with the
adapting nature of aviation.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure Deep, Detailed and RON Grooms are completed per company standards.
- Ensure Catering requirements are met for Seasonal Operations (Sunwing).
- Ensure safe and efficient loading & unloading of catering devices from aircraft.
- Ensure proper build and quantity/quality of dry goods and fresh goods for catering ops.
- Ensure QA Checks are completed for both grooming and catering tasks.
- Engage a work team of 4-8 people to meet Service Level Agreements and carrier policies.
- Propel and engage new team members through direct mentorship and hands-on training.
- Advise management of no-show or late team members and productivity issues.
- Delegate tasks as required; Manage downtime productivity with your team.
- Be hands-on and work with the team ensuring safety and efficiency are priority.
- Work with all co-workers and customers (ATW, BTW) to ensure strategic and efficient use of your team.
- Complete inventory and ordering requirements for all Carrier Cleaning & Catering

Supplies along with Maintair specific cleaning supplies.
- Ensure secure items (alcohol, duty free et.c) is kept secure and controlled.
- Ensure the safe operation of all GSE and related equipment and report violations.
- Ensure daily inspection of all grooming & catering equipment is complete, and DI logs complete.
- Ensure GSE and related equipment is serviced, kept clean and useable at all times.
- Complete equipment deficiency and hazard reports as required.
- Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.
- Actively participate in company and air carrier safety programs. Communicate changes

in policy to the ramp team as they occur.
- Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.
- Adhere to, and manage published uniform standards and PPE requirements.
- Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.
- Actively participate in the company SMS Program.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent experience (Post Secondary Education

Preferred).
- Existing Lead or Supervisor Experience.
- Current Criminal Record Check required.
- Knowledge of aviation and its related terms, short forms and verbiage.
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
- Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
- Must have excellent team player competencies.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and/or in a team environment

working varied and/or split shifts.
- Must be able to supervise a team of 4-8, working on varying air carrier ops

procedures.
- Must be able to manage and engage conflict resolution procedures when required.
- Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on overnight shifts.
- Must be able to communicate all concerns to management.
- Must maintain a professional and experienced level of service with all Maintair

customers.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:

- $85.00 per year Protective Footwear Allowance.
- PPE required is provided to employee.
- 50e/50c Cost Share on Winter Gear.

- 50e/50c Cost Share on all other Uniform Pieces (Hoodies, T-Shirts, etc).
