Procurement Specialist

Vins Plastics Ltd. is growing and looking for enthusiastic and collaborative individuals to join our winning team as a Procurement Specialist. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all departments and customers have the information they need to meet objectives.

**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO**
- Enter Material Requisitions into Microsoft Dynamics AX2012R3 ERP Platform and
generate Price Inquiries, Purchase Orders, Return Orders etc.
- Responsible for assisting in researching, evaluating, and procuring various materials to
meet the supply requirements for the manufacturing facility.
- Compares costs and evaluates the quality and suitability of supplies, materials and
equipment.
- Create Inventory Items in MS Dynamics AX ERP Platform

Service Representatives.
- Follow-up and coordinate with various departments (Production, Graphics, etc.) on
delivery times for items
- Ensure delivered items are received correctly by appropriate personnel
- Post Vendor Invoices in ERP Platform against specific purchase orders
- Explore Cost Saving Opportunities on purchased items
- Qualify new Vendors for product supply
- Develop Rebate Proposals with various Vendors
- Regularly meet with Vendors on-site to leverage new business opportunities

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Successful completion or in progress of a post-secondary education in a related field, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years’ experience in a relevant field
- Strong knowledge/comfort with Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Time Management
- Resourcefulness
- Professionalism
