**Shifts Available: Monday - Friday**
- Night Shift - 3 AM to 11:30 AM
- Night Shift - 12 AM to 8:30 AM
The purpose of this position is the loading and unloading of customer's freight in a productive, safe, error free, and time sensitive manner. A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. Please note, licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Load/unload trailers according to company procedures.
- Identification of OS&D freight.
- Completion of necessary documentation with care.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned.
**Position Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an **asset**.
- 1-2 years previous counterbalance forklift experience is **preferred.**:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Cross dock experience is considered an **asset**.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment.
- Criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
